TOPRA is taking an opportunity to update its constitutional documents, which have been largely unchanged since 2004. Since that time there have been developments in the legal framework for companies and also changes in business practices – with more business being conducted electronically, for example. Therefore TOPRA, in common with many similar bodies, needs to modernise these documents to make sure they are fully legally compliant and reflect the way we conduct our business today. We have engaged a specialist legal adviser to produce a revised version of our constitutional documents.

These changes will be placed before the membership formally later in the year and will be voted on at the 2017 Annual Review meeting, which this year will be in London at the Annual Symposium (2–4 October).
