We welcomed over 150 online attendees, including professionals working in regulatory affairs or interested in joining the profession, students, and exhibitors. Presentations were given by speakers from the UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency, notified bodies, pharmaceutical companies, consultants and recruitment agencies.

“In light of the pandemic, we transformed our annual Regulatory Careers Live event into an online experience so that those who are interested in joining regulatory affairs or want to investigate their career progression could still benefit,” said Erik Smit, Client Development Manager, TOPRA. “As a result of going virtual, we have seen the largest global attendance in the history of the event, with attendees from Europe, North America, Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Australia and the Caribbean. This reflects how, as a profession, regulatory affairs fully spans the world.”

Following on from the success of our virtual Regulatory Careers Live, the face-to-face event is planned for 27 October at the University of Hertfordshire, UK, where delegates will have the opportunity to meet many of the participating companies. It will be a full day of networking opportunities, plus a programme of sessions to complement those from the virtual event. If you would like to attend as a delegate or participate as an exhibitor and/or speaker, register your interest by emailing erik@topra.org.
