I am a diagnostics and MedTech professional with international experience in regulation, technology adoption, and strategic communication. I have worked in the design and development of IVD products and in planning projects focused on patient safety, evidence generation, and regulatory compliance.
My background spans industry, the NHS, and consulting, with a strong focus on how communication transforms evidence into clear value for decision‑makers and enables the adoption of innovation within healthcare systems.
This perspective allows me to bring an integrated and practical contribution to the TOPRA Board.
Current or previous involvement in TOPRA activities:
My involvement with TOPRA includes active participation as a full professional member and, most notably, my role as TOPRA IN Spain Chair, where I have driven the organisation’s presence in Spain and across the Spanish‑speaking world. I have worked to build professional networks, promote training activities, and create opportunities that connect TOPRA with more than 600 million Spanish‑speaking professionals. This contribution has strengthened TOPRA’s international visibility and expanded its reach into strategic global markets.
Personal statement:
I am a biosciences professional with NHS experience as a Clinical Scientist, specialising in diagnostics, evidence generation and patient safety. My background in Regulatory Affairs, supported by MTOPRA and RSci registration with the Science Council, has enabled me to integrate regulation, compliance and technology adoption in complex environments.
As a member of the Medical Journalists’ Association, I have developed a strong focus on MedTech communication, translating evidence into clear value for decision‑makers.
I am currently progressing toward CEng registration with IPEM, strengthening my technical and engineering profile. This combination of science, regulation, communication and technology allows me to bring an integrated, practical and impact‑driven perspective to the TOPRA Board.
