The TOPRA Symposium, held yearly since 2004, is the premier conference in Europe dedicated to healthcare regulatory affairs, with a programme encompassing the topics most relevant to those working in healthcare regulatory affairs, whether for human or veterinary medicines, medical devices or IVDs. It is open to anyone interested in regulatory affairs and gathers delegates, speakers and exhibitors from industry, regulatory bodies, support services (consultants, recruiters, translators) and connected areas (patient groups, charities, healthcare professions, legal firms, universities, notified bodies and the media).
The 2019 edition, organised in conjunction with Ireland's HPRA, was held in Dublin and attracted over 640 participants across 31 countries and more than 300 entities, including 22 regulatory authorities, constituting a perfect opportunity for keeping current of the latest regulatory developments and for sharing experiences with your peers.
The 2020 Symposium will be held online in partnership with Belgium's FAMHP, themed around the question: The evolving world of regulatory affairs: innovate regulation or regulate innovation?
The 2020 conference programme is being developed by the following working parties:
