Entry Requirements

Criteria

To register for the MSc candidates must satisfy the criteria of the University of Wales to hold a degree or equivalent qualification from a recognised academic institution. In addition candidates must demonstrate that they have sufficient regulatory experience to benefit from the course.

In exceptional circumstances TOPRA/University of Wales will consider applications from potential candidates who do not meet the above criteria, for example many years’ experience in Regulatory Affairs but no degree, or less regulatory experience with other relevant healthcare industry experience.

In such cases the application will be reviewed by the Academic Panel of the Postgraduate Faculty to assess suitability for acceptance onto the course.

Language

Candidates whose first language is not English must also demonstrate knowledge of written and spoken English sufficient to enable them to undertake the course. An IELTS (International English Language Testing System) certificate may be required. The University specifies that students studying for a UW award need to have attained a IELTS score of 6 (for undergraduates) and a IELTS score of 6.5 (for postgraduates).
Information on IELTS can be found at www.ielts.org and www.britishcouncil.org

Disability

TOPRA makes no distinctions in its admissions policy with regard to disability. TOPRA will make every reasonable effort to supply students with services that meet their needs.
