On 6 October, Executive Director Lynda Wight was one of 16 CEOs of professional associations who signed up to the Science Council's Diversity Declaration.
All these associations have pledged to promote a culture of equality, diversity and inclusion within their respective disciplines. The Science Council will be leading by example in this enterprise, as well as providing resources, practical support and facilitating initiatives and best practice between member bodies.
As part of the Declaration TOPRA has agreed that the Past President in each Board year will be the ‘Diversity Champion’. For more information see the Science Council website
