Governments are now taking action to increase the supply of mechanical ventilators to treat seriously ill patients with COVID-19. There has been a worldwide call to manufacturers to help out. Many companies have stepped forward to offer their services, including some without experience of producing medical devices, although they have precision engineering skills and facilities.
TOPRA would like to hear from members of our community with expertise in the regulatory approval of mechanical ventilators or similar devices, who would be willing to assist those companies that require regulatory support in order to ensure the global supply of ventilators during the COVID-19 pandemic.
