A renewed European strategy for Pharmaceuticals in Europe - the latest European proposals discussed

Yesterday, 10 December 2008, the European Commission adopted a Communication and three legislative proposals with the overarching objective of ensuring that European citizens can increasingly benefit from a competitive industry that generates safe, innovative and accessible medicines. This includes key measures on Counterfeits, Information to Patients and Pharmacovigilance. The first opportunity for Agency and Industry discussion will be on 25-26 February in Brussels at a meeting organised by TOPRA in cooperation with the European Commission.
