New Event in February - European Commission - proposals for new Pharmaceutical Legislation

"A renewed European strategy for Pharmaceuticals in Europe - the latest European proposals discussed".

The European Commission will soon propose in the "Pharma Package" a range of legislative changes designed to enhance the safety and availability of medicines accompanied by Communication on a vision for the pharmaceutical sector in Europe. Enhanced measures covering Pharmacovigilance, Information to patients and Counterfeit medicines will soon be introduced.

TOPRA is pleased to announce it is again working with the European Commission to facilitate a conference where these new legislative changes can be explained and the implications for industry, health agencies and other stakeholders can be discussed.

Stakeholders from the member states, the EMEA and other interested parties are invited to attend and hear from European Commission representatives how the proposed legislative changes could affect them. Note the date of 25-26 February 2009 in your diaries for this essential meeting in Brussels.
