Get involved: Supplementary protection certificates survey

Posted on 25/01/2017

The Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition has been directed by the European Commission to undertake a study on the legal aspects of the supplementary protection certificates in the EU. As part of this project, they will be conducting a survey seeking the opinion of stakeholders in the pharmaceutical and agrochemical industries regarding potential changes in the current SPC protection regime in the EU.

This survey will cover past experience with the system, general policy considerations, assessment of the present legal rules, as well as some proposals on the potential amendment of the Current SPC Regulations. Information will be collected on an anonymous basis.

TOPRA has been asked to identify members who would be willing to contribute to the survey. This is an opportunity for members to have a say in the possible amendment of the current SPC Regulations.

If you would like to be involved please email Lynda.
