MSc Qualifications

The TOPRA MSc and Postgraduate Diploma was introduced in 1989 and was the first such course in the world. TOPRA now has the reputation as a leader in awarding formal regulatory qualifications. Validated by the University of Wales, the reputation of the course is international with over a third of the students being non-UK based, a number being drawn from regulatory agencies and most of the students having an international remit in their day-to-day work.

The postgraduate syllabus and the modular structure of the course also gives TOPRA an unparalleled opportunity to offer intensive training on a subject to delegates who are not enrolled as students.  Numbers for each module are limited but whenever possible, some places are allocated to those who are unable for some reason to study for the qualification.

New MSc in Medical Technology Regulatory Affairs

Through a collaboration between Cranfield Health and TOPRA this MSc is the only course of its type. It has been devised in direct response to the needs of employees, employers and regulators in the medical technology industries.

For the first time, an MSc qualification is available to provide a systematic framework for the study of regulatory affairs in the field of medical technology. With this formal qualification, skills will now be easier to demonstrate to employers and peers. Employers will benefit through the development of personnel to an increased level of competence and professionalism whilst those involved in recruiting will find it easier to identify proficiency using this gold standard.
