Mangement Skills Training



Regulatory staff are facing new challenges in the management of departments, projects and their own time, and are often being asked to do so with little or no training in management and business skills. Where such training has been offered it is usually ‘generic’ in nature, and not geared toward the special circumstances facing the regulatory manager.

 

TOPRA courses have covered a wide subject area encompassing the key management skills required including:

  • Finance for regulatory managers

  • Project management

  • Negotiation skills

  • Presentation skills

  • Commercial understanding

  • Managing teams

  • Understanding and working with personal and cultural differences

These courses can also be made available as ‘in-house’ training, with companies using the TOPRA headquarters and the regulatory-specific programme to train their whole department in a cost-effective way.
