Foundation Training

The TOPRA Introductory Courses have become recognised as the ‘gold standard’ in basic training for all those entering the profession.  With a combination of lectures from those who are actively practicing Regulatory Affairs, and case studies to test learning and apply knowledge, the Introductory Courses exemplify TOPRA’s approach to training.

It is not enough to simply supply information and hope that students can apply it in their day-to-day jobs.  The interactive nature of challenging case studies and face-to-face discussion with leaders and peers provides a solid foundation for the future.

These are residential meetings, giving delegates the opportunity to discuss their own problems with lecturers and to forge professional contacts that will serve their future careers for many years to come.  The course notes act as a valuable reference tool for those setting out in their first regulatory post.

The Basics of Regulatory Affairs one-day meetings are targeted towards administrative and secretarial staff. These aim to de-mystify the subject, by explaining basic principles, providing definitions and helping those who support the regulatory professional to have a better understanding of how their role contributes to, or is influenced by, the regulatory process.
